Sittler Compost Turner Model 509

An excellent choice for mid range bulk composting on larger farms or commercial operations, this turner is capable of turning 12-15 cu mts per minute or 700-900 cu mts per hour.

This machine requires a 60-80 hp tractor with a creeper gear, we recommend that the turner operating speed works at just 300 mts per hour, this creeper gear rate for turning the windrow provides adequate turning of the compost while it is being simultaneously watered and aerated. If your tractor cannot be fitted with a creeper gear, we can provide you with a hydraulic assisted model where the wheels of the turner push the tractor while the tractor is operating in neutral in this case you would order model 509 HA.

The 509 is also the perfect size to move on road if you need to travel from site to site. The width of the 509 is just 3.85 mts and the weight of the machine is approximately 2 tonnes.
